New AutoPOL version 03.28.0005

A new updated version 03.28.0001 of AutoPOL has been released. This version includes new functionality and a few minor improvements/fixes. The major ones are briefly described below.

Customers with an active Subscription can download this version from the AutoPOL Customer Portal.

General

• User defined weighting span for bend data exceptions
  The user can now decide the angle span used to find bend data exceptions that are not available for a specific target angle.
  This settings defines how far from the target angle the next larger and smaller bend data exception can be. If exceptions are found within this span, a weighted average of the two will be used.
• Support for new 3D file versions added
  The currently supported versions can always be found on www.autopol.com/translators, but the new versions added in this release are the following.
  Solid Edge: ST10
  Autodesk Inventor: 2018
  Parasolid: 30
• MultiSave available in Unfold and add-on Design
  The MultiSave command can now be used already in the Unfold or Design tab. This opens up the possibility to conveniently save all production files also for parts that do not require bending.
